The Erie WIC program is hiring Nutritionists* and Bilingual Nutrition Technicians. If you are interested in applying for either postition please email a resume and cover letter to wicinbox@unfhcc.org or see our current listing on Indeed
*the Nutritionist position requires a 4 year degree in human nutrition, does not require an RD

The National WIC Association is celebrating 50 years of WIC!!!
The first WIC office opened in Kentucky in January of 1974. In the last half-century we have expanded to provide nutrition education, nutritious foods, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals to our income-eligible families with women who are pregnant or post-partum, infants, and children under age 5.
We strive to support our clients through their journey of pregnancy, post-partum, and parenthood!
WIC Benefit Balances on the WICShopper app are HERE !!
- To access your your WIC benefit balance, go to the WICShopper app to learn about how to register your card. (You can find the app in your phone's app store to download, or CLICK HERE to download the app).
- Click the 'my benefits' icon and enter in your WIC card# twice. This will link your WIC card to your app and allow you to check your monthly WIC benefits!
ATTENTION: when checking your WIC benefits, balances may be DELAYED up to 48 HOURS!
If this is your first WIC card, or you have recieved a replacement:
- You must wait 48 hours afer receiving your new card to register it on the WICShopper App, in the meantime you may skip this step and watch the instructional video titled "Understanding eWIC".
- You can still use your benefits at the store during this waiting period! To do so please refer to the provided card balance printout and food list.
